Parent Input Form in Parent Portal

Parents have the option to provide input into class placement for the 26-27 school year. Parent Portal will have a "Parent Input Form" available from April 1-May 1. Completing this form is optional. If you choose to provide input into your child's placement for the upcoming school year, please complete the form in your parent portal account.

Your input form should not specifically state a certain teacher. What you can include in the form is the type of environment your child learns best in, teaching style, good fit friends, and peers who are not a good fit.

School Attendance Guidance

An unverified absence is when we do not hear from parents about the reason for a student's absence. Per the district policy and state guidelines, if a student has four unverified absences in a month or ten unverified absences in a school year, a student is considered truant. Please make sure you are communicating with the office through an email, phone call or through the parent portal if your child will be absent from school. To date we have 85 unverified absences.

Student attendance at school is so important for many reasons. We meet monthly to look at attendance. Here are a few tools to help you understand the importance of attendance and when to send your kiddos to school.
